Graham is now regularly invited to speak at schools and colleges, churches and corporate events. He is a paid public speaker and received good accolades from previous engagements. He also works with schools, both local and further afield. He has been asked recently by a local school if he would consider becoming a 'community school governor', an invitation that he is honoured to have received and is paying due consideration to. In his words, 'No way does someone like me get to be asked to be a school governor'.

I use both traditional and contemporary methods and materials to create unique and expressive works
My passion is the abstract.
Part of my inspiration comes from the written word and their meanings.  Then working through my sketch books I develop the ideas until I feel ready to externalise those thoughts and 'express the unseen'.
I maintain integrity in my work with a drive Intensity within my sketch books, which I refer to constantly.
I am a self-taught artist. As a child I seemed to have a natural gift of being able to replicate seen objects and create believable portraits and landscapes.
My earliest artistic influence was a musician, Jimi Hendrix, who opened my mind as a 9 year old boy.
Painters and sculptors include, amongst others, Mark Rothko, Andy Goldsworthy, Patrick Heron and Howard Hodgekin.
ABSTRACT ART IS ART WITHOUT A RECOGNISABLE SUBJECT REPRESENTING THE ESSENCE OF A REALITY.
My paintings, to me, suggest a journey, a path I have travelled, sometimes simple, quiet and straightforward and at other times, complex, chaotic and emotionally charged.
